The way I get treated when people find out I’m in the military now (under trump) compared to how I got treated when I signed up (under biden) is actually night and day. I’m a military firefighter 💀 you don’t just get to quit because presidents change…

I don’t understand worrying about civilian’s opinion of your service anyway. You joined, they didn’t. Why would you care what they think

I mean if if ends up being the civilians harass or mock the serviceman (and especially if he's not even putting it out there but people just finding out as he said) then I'd say it's a fair reason to care (albeit not at the specific person, just the unfair harassment)

bc the U.S. military isn’t even protecting Americans anymore, it’s protecting oil corporations, how tf does this war in Iran do anything to protect to Americans, and if you say “Iran has a nuke” that’s just not true

Our military is so strong that it doesn’t simply serve to protect the homeland. Our livelihoods in the US sit upon the actions of the military. Our US dollar is powerful because of the military. Our entire country has been propped up because of them

Can we at least draw a distinction between the people doing offensive operations and the people putting fires out on bases and ships 😭 would you ask a military doctor this question?

brother I don’t want to be rich if it means killing hundreds of thousands of civilians in the Middle East, the blood money isn’t worth it

Also a lot of people in the military use it as a way to learn trades, as a job, and a way to fund education

Oh no they bombed the country that screams death to America and fund terrorism and killed over 40k protestors. Like u gotta realize they are protecting American interests whether you agree with or not.

I don’t think simply protecting American interests is a good reason to go to war
