Anybody know how many jobs are just solving problems other people’s job causes? Like personal injury lawyers fighting insurance companies Middle management in general CEOs trying to appease investors in this Sisyphian ritual of perpetual greed

Some people in HR, anyone in an ethics-related position, anyone who works for an inspector general, police, customer service. Honestly, you could argue that most jobs involve solving a problem caused by someone else

Not that they are never useful, but often these types of jobs are wasteful. Like people get paid a ton of money to not end up adding much value to anyone’s life in any meaningful way. When they could instead be doing more ‘valuable’ services. Its hard to get my language right 😭
