Being forced to pick between two evils is what has led us to this point in our democracy. Like imagine if we had actual good candidates out forward? We’d be so much better off. Instead it’s “pick the person you think will ruin the country the least”

Eisenhower imo, maybe jfk. Really whenever the post WWII profits started dwindling and corporations started getting more involved in politics again. At the time, Reagan seemed good. It’s why he won by so much. In retrospect his policies screwed us now, but I don’t necessarily blame people at the time for thinking he was good, pretty much everyone thought that.
