Old luddites are holding us back. We have the technological means to implement direct democracy. Elected representatives only exist to accommodate them and the voters who can’t be bothered to participate

Like if I had 20 Nazis and 10 communists, I could make 10 groups of 2 Nazis and one communist and try and claim the whole group is Nazis yk

I would argue against a direct democracy. That would just mean whoever can fund the best ad campaigns or owns the technology algorithms will win. There should be a minimum standard of political literacy to make important decisions. A representative system is good for that, but now we have career politicians instead of sensible representatives
