Maybe for the US but not for the world. Social democracy won’t liberate anyone itll just better the quality of life for certain portions of the population, but its not enough

That’s a different argument. Social democracy is a political-economic model for governing a country, not a theory of how to ‘liberate’ the entire world. If the claim is that it’s insufficient because it doesn’t solve every global inequality, that’s a much higher bar than evaluating whether it produces a workable combination of markets, democratic government, and a strong social safety net
