We can go over the questionable morality of Luigi and other vigilantes that visit violence on others without a trial or jury. One thing I will always stand by though is that I would have liked to see the CEO receive a life sentence after a fair trial.Yeah I’m with you on that. I completely understand why the shooting happened and why people reacted the way they did but I still believe a trial is what would be just. And when I say trial I mean some theoretical honest trial of the people, not one you can pay your way out of like one that our justice dept would surely give. The impracticality/impossibility of this type of trial is why I understand the shooting though
There's no illegality here. Insurance companies exist. The way you change this through politics, not by getting angry at the people at random businesses. That's just childish and dumb. Healthcare is expensive and somebody pays for it. If you want government run health insurance, great, get politically active and advocate for that.
And where does the government come from? Democrats, holding a weak hand, tried to use their leverage to force republicans to extend some healthcare subsidies but they didn't win that gambit. The answer is to elect more democrats and hold them accountable. Demand a different healthcare system. It's hard. There are a lot of obstacles to getting things passed. No one likes paying for health insurance but someone pays and it doesn't make a lot of sense to just hate the players in the marketplace.
