His murder was literally the front page of every major newspaper, legislation was brought to the house to honor him, president ordered flags at half mast; etc. if you’re trying to say people are more outraged against jimmy kimmel 1) you’re wrong, and 2) they should be since this is a first amendment violation. Trump is the most anti free speech president in history.

Such a simple-minded way to look at the situation and perfectly explains how we got here. Instead of thinking about the facts, circumstances, and why people are actually upset, you reduce it down to "a conservative" and "a liberal"

I live in rural TX and know many people who genuinely feel like OP. If I can take 30 seconds to explain why this take is wrong, then I'll do it. Worst case scenario I lose 30 seconds, best case maybe somebody reads it and a light bulb turns on Now if I was genuinely mad, or if OP was replying to every comment and being an obvious dick and I kept engaging, then yeah I'ma head out
