I wish conservatives had the same energy when it came to AI actually taking our jobs as they do when they claim immigrants supposedly taking our jobs. But alas, “racism is illogical” strikes again

It’s not about jobs. It’s about national security and border security. As for AI, I love AI. AI is awesome. It’s also not taking jobs it’s creating new jobs.

As someone who literally works for a tech company, AI is an incredible tool but there are a lottttt of downsides to it currently. Needs a lot more regulation, security, and environmental controls bc if it keeps evolving the way it is now, it will be far more destructive than good. And AI is taking jobs in various areas so idk where ur getting that lie from

The only way it’s creating new jobs is for AI developers which is NOT a lot of opportunities in the grand scheme of things and only targets one category of professionals so
