Because the Bible is not a (fully) true book and the teachings of Christ are impossible to follow fully Hope that helps Love mercy humility and justice are all good things. Being able to divorce your abusive husband that hasn’t cheated on you is also good.

Well most American Protestant dominations are a load of shit. And that’s what you’re referring to. And I think the whole thing is people are easily tempted by “sin” so that would explain why some Christians don’t follow Christ.
