i agree for sure. i’m gonna state that i don’t think americans should be forced to die for the pedophilic empire if i get attacked. i also understand what motivates ppl to enlist. that doesn’t mean i think its right; i hate them for it. most insidious is the immediate, reflexive way ppl gravitate towards being anti-war because of veteran PTSD. it is impossible to not be a war criminal when the invasion itself violates sovereignty and uses loopholes to legally facilitate it thru useless IL.

Same. Doesn’t mean I’m not saddened for the soldiers at all tho. 99% of them are people trying to scrape by, escape a bad situation, or help feed their families. The American population (esp the youth) are intentionally sheltered from the horrific actions of the military. By the time they realize, it’s too late. I agree but if I posted this opinion on Facebook everyone would block me. One of the guys that died was from my tiny Kentucky hometown and everyone knew him so I don’t think that would go over very well

no one wants large swaths of americans to die obviously. it’s just that in the process of doing so, the more catastrophic fallout is absorbed by racialized families. iraqi 9 year old girl raped and later shot with her fam our country is racist (guided by an incoherent yet predominating yt supremacy) oft-genocidal and patriarchal obv but ig my point is that the rape culture in america is racialized (this is seen everywhere in racial violence). and pedophilia is a part of this rape culture.
