Capitalism ain’t working for the vast majority of us. A social democracy is a valid and fair solution in between Capitalism and Socialism, where many issues we have with Capitalism are addressed while we don’t tack on the issues caused by hard Socialism.
I refuse to bail some lazy ass citizen who has no job and doesn’t want to do shit and give them state sponsored free food, healthcare, etc.

It’s a much healthier solution than this top down economics we have with employment levels where wage gaps are continuing to grow between the top and bottom levels of companies.

Maybe look at it differently – a social democracy would reward hard work in a way capitalism doesn’t. Access to food and healthcare are human rights, and we should help citizens who you consider “lazy” to be able to get on their feet and find a job that’s right for them.

Right now, people are working multiple jobs and still barely or not even making ends meet. Hard work isn’t being rewarded now under this late stage capitalist system, so something is in need of a change.

So we shouldn't do something that helps an overwhelming majority of the working class because a few people might take advantage of the system? Isn't that what billionaires already do?

But you’ll happily bail out mega companies every 10-15 years while their wages don’t keep up with the cost of living? All while their CEOs rake in fortunes?
