It makes me feel so sad and helpless that the Epstein victims will probably never get justice and all of the law enforcement officers of the country can’t arrest the powerful men who are so likely to be guilty.

why do we just have to accept that?

They already have justice. The guy who did it was put away. There is nomevidence that anyone else participated. And we 're talking about teenagers here not young children.

so...start organizing. start planning in your community. personally, i'm not letting a child rapist and his cult members scare me into excusing this

Meaning what? I’m not trying to attack you I’m just genuinely curious what this organizing and planning entails

get together with those in your community. decide on a course of action and STICK TO IT. for example, one person telling their representatives they refuse to support them unless they actually do smth abt this. those in congress, i mean. put money in to support others in your community, if u can. if possible, strike. they speak in money, striking workers gets less money. buy guns, LEARN HOW TO USE THEM! take strategies from history, from other countries like france.

the most important part of all of this is to be loud and together. present a front united on this issue. support each other, because the government isn't.

hang on a second my first thing didnt make sense i didnt finish it IM SO SORRY. the part w the representatives is supposed to continue by saying but a large group of people holding the same stance is more threatening to them.

do not fight with your community. encourage ppl to get together on this issue, no matter what race or class or political stance. if someone won't cooperate, then ignore them. don't waste your time arguing with them, spend your time finding people who do agree. the people DO have rights, know them, memorize them and please use them

So how have you gotten together with folks? Putting a phone number on telephone poles or through Facebook groups or what? We’ll need a lot of people to sway the decisions of a member of congress. And money to do what with? Maybe bail if a protestor gets jailed or something like that? And strike against who?

I know it’s easier to ask questions and ask about holes in a plan than it is to make a plan, I’m just looking for ways to do these things and I very much appreciate you taking the time to answer.

grouping the people i know together and saying "get the people you know in on this". and then they do the same to the people they know. and so on and so forth. it doesn't seem like you're actually wondering, it just seems like you're wanting to poke holes into what i suggest and i'm not playing that game.

I am planning on taking some classes and getting a gun though. Really don’t wanna ever use it but we are at a point where I do want one

which is why i also suggested going and looking at stuff done in other countries. look at things done in ours. find primary sources, anything. i really can't hold your hand the entire way. i can't patch every hole in these suggestions for you.

I have no ill intentions here, I promise. I hear a lot of talk online and not many practical tips. You’ve given some great practical tips and if they’re truly that practical then I have follow up questions if you care to answer them. I want to do more and part of that is being critical of people who I believe are moving in the right direction, we need good plans.

I’m not asking you to hold my hand, I’m asking for practical ground level considerations that nobody seems to have figured out.

the only thing is we all should prepare for the possibility that congress does not take action to stop this, including preventing the election of candidates who would. i agree with basically everything 1 said (especially about getting armed, in as many ways as we can) given the circumstances we’re in

i'm sorry for being short or rude, if ive seemed that way. one thing i encourage you to look at is information on the black panther party. things they did, what worked, what didn't. for example, they had "survival programs" helping to provide stuff like food. the other people in your community will also be able to help, you will have more ideas together than apart

My point is that all anyone seems to be able to say is “get a gun, organize, and talk to your lawmakers”. Which is great but if we want people to do these things, especially people less involved with this stuff than we are, then we need real actionable steps besides just going out and buying a gun

hey look it’s very valid, but imo it’s important to consider that everyone is basically just figuring it out as we go our country has tried really hard to prevent us from learning too much about these types of topics (mass worker organization, consolidations of power, etc), and anytime there was significant organization occurring it was often met with heavy federal intervention (CIA operations, FBI investigations, etc).

this!! this is why i keep mentioning the importance of community, show up and support your group, because they will try as hard as they can to tear you apart. we have more power and sway in groups

I’m completely aware, that’s why I’m asking questions in case anyone has figured out more than I have, doesn’t ever seem to be the case. Most of us have the foundations but it seems we all lack the knowledge of how to transfer that into larger popular movements

1 was making a lot of really great points on that, I think our way forward is to look to the past and adopt (as well as adapt) methods that have proven to be successful in combatting scenarios like these, but it has a bit of a unique layer given that our country has never truly eliminated our fascist tendencies ingrained since our founding

I 100% agree!! When we’re divided we have no power, but once organized we could bring about actual change - I appreciate how you were explaining ways to organize above btw! I’ve been admittedly struggling w that, but you gave me a new perspective on how I could go about it so thank you!!
