are you a misogynist? if not, then you’re not one of the men in question. this type of dismissive deflection is always dogshit because the prevalence of misogyny amongst men has been documented throughout history. so no, it’s not “obviously a false statement”, it’s a factual one aside for a subset of outliers, which is fucked up in and of itself.

I have a fantastic fiance, it’s definitely not all men. But the majority of men today, especially a majority on this page hate women. Point blank. My point for this post was being frustrated with the amount of misogyny and disgusting comments towards women that have surfaced over the past couple months. Yet, they have no problem talking about women sexually. So for those men, u cannot want to have sex with the women you just spoke so horribly about

Why make such a blanket statement then? If I saw a black guy on the news commit a crime and I say “why do black men always commit crimes?” Then obviously someone will have a problem with it, I can’t then be like “oh bro if you didn’t commit a crime I wasn’t talking about you”.

there is no way you just tried to defend your dismissals of misogyny by invoking a hypothetical rooted in racism. it is not all men, it is most men; that is the point. the fact that you’re fixating more on that, instead of the topic of misogyny (yk, the actual topic of discussion), displays your intentions clear as day.

and it’s not by nature of just being a man, it’s being raised in a predominately patriarchal world that causes young boys to adopt misogynistic views. a form of learned prejudice during one’s upbringing. that results in them not understanding the severity of the views they hold in their adulthood.

yeah that gets into a deeper conversation of how misogyny is deeply rooted in sexual depravity. sex workers come forward all the time saying people don’t pay for sex cause they aren’t getting any, they pay for it to satisfy “fantasies.” the most popular of which are violent rape fantasies and father/daughter fantasies. all because men taught men that sex was conquering and that anything other than bland vanilla sex was “immoral.”

And hey, I mean u do u (as long as it’s consensual) but I think the ppl wanting these fantasies need to take a step back and ask themselves why.. bc the teacher/student fantasy never sat right with me either. Okay, I just wanted to clarify this point because I immediately interpreted is just a blanket man-hating post that I see super commonly on my school’s page. And to an extent I get it but after a while it just gets annoying when the actions of some dudes are applied to every guy
