A million dollars is a lot closer to zero than to a billion… a lot of these people that we would consider rich, including musicians, actors, influencers etc are still just expendable laborers who don’t own their work and have some sort of boss. They have nowhere near as much power or influence as the elite class, but they are closer to said elites and can afford to be ignorant to the struggles of the masses. They are the jesters of the castle that aren’t actually part of the club
