This doesn’t show Trumpflation. I agree that Trumpflation exists, but getting tons of refreshments at a baseball game doesn’t prove it. Actually, for a baseball game $2 for a soda is cheap. Baseball games have always been notorious for over charging, this isn’t new with the war in Iran or with Trump, it’s literally been this way forever.
no this is egregious. my family used to be able to take me and my cousins to Tigers games every year. it was affordable to the average person, including a 4hr drive to the stadium AND back. it’s corporate greed mainly that goes unchecked particularly since Trump took office the first time. it’s shrinkflation, it’s predatory pricing, it’s being able to scalp consumers bc they know they’ll still buy. there’s an entire More Perfect Union about stadiums price gouging and becoming unaffordable.
Oh no. I completely agree that it’s a problem that places like stadiums, theaters and airports doing price gouging since there is no where else to go and this is an issue. I was just saying it’s been an issue for a while, maybe not a long time ago, but definitely longer than the past year and a half. Also, gas and groceries are better towards the Trumpflation argument, not stadium refreshments. This is an issue separate from the OP.
