Like the argument against immigrants and “the left” often boils down to “I don’t want my hard earned money going to bums who leech the system” But the same people making those arguments tend to be the ones who want to have or be a trad wife that stays at home and raises the family instead of contributing to the economy. I’m not saying that’s an unreasonable thing to want, but the double standard is worth mentioning
