the second wave of red pill is demonizing women. an example of this is ppl blaming mothers when their kid commits a crime or does smth wrong or even annoying. even in a two parent household

While it is obvious that being born to a single mother creates conditions that increase the likelyhood of crime, the fact that people take this info and say it’s the mothers fault is crazy

Marriage is a partnership. I’d actually argue that discipline is supposed to be solely rested upon the father. The bigger issue is hypergamy and a hookup culture that has been created by both sides.

The father is usually at work providing for the family. The mother is the one that raised the child.

i mean there’s typically some sort of influence that comes from the home, especially in single parent households (single mothers), obviously some kids just commit crimes for no apparent reason but finding the root cause isn’t demonizing women

I feel like the alt-right pipeline/redpill community/whatever else you want to call it has always been about degrading women tbh. A lot of these people got their start with the “owning feminist SJW compilation” or like “women are all whores” genre of content

People are so obsessed with blaming women. If the Bible had been written so that Adam bit the apple first, people would question why Eve didn’t stop him.

Who else’s fault would it be? If it is a single mother then the father is out of the picture and did not raise the child.

The person who commits the crime is at fault, the mother is the cause for some of the circumstances that contributed to it

well if the kids mimicking the behavior of their parents then yeah theyre partly to blame, but u cant make it a blanket statement of “she just didnt raise him right” for any wrongdoing

i dont like either really. i think the original global definition of capital C conservatism is the best way to run a country, but not the american kind tho. i align more with marcuse’s critiques tho

i lurk in these spaces a lot and recently these accounts have been posting old court cases or body cam footage of stuff and putting a poll in the comments “who’s to blame: mother or _____” (insert whatever other possible answer could be, like the cops or the school) like theyre putting that thought into ppls heads indirectly

And my point is just that I don’t see how you can materially differentiate between the shit Andrew Tate and Ben Shapiro and whoever else were saying about women and mothers 5-10 years ago from the shit people say now. It’s always been the case that they’ve portrayed women as overly emotional, incapable of properly raising children without a “father figure,” alluded to single mothers being sluts, etc. I just don’t know why we’re acting like any of this shit is really that new. It’s a revolving

door of ragebait content that has always been meant to make you think less of women, minorities, LGBT people, etc. I mean the concept of the poll you’re describing wouldn’t even make sense to most people if not for years of subliminal messaging just like that

andrew tate and ben shapiro arent even the same kind of misogynist. i feel like ur just out of ur depths in this conversation like if we replace misogyny with the color red, we’re all talking about a new shade of red and ur sitting here telling us it all looks the same to u. thats a u problem lol

upvote 1 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> OP 13h

Actually what I’m saying is that we’re now talking about three different shades of red, among many many others, and you’re somehow just counting 2. I just don’t know why we’re drawing the line on like this one “specific kind of misogyny” as if that’s a total vibe shift when it’s always just been a million different heads of the same dragon

Anonymous replying to -> #4 13h

that literally makes no sense lol. this is what happened i said “hey guys theyre popularizing this new shade of red”….. and u said “uh, red’s always existed”…. and i said “this is a new shade theyre trying to popularize”….. and u said “idk how u tell the difference between this shade and Shapiro or Tate red”….. and i said ya those are red too but this is a different red

What you’re saying is more like “guys they just created a SECOND version of red that’s so different than the first red” and I’m saying we have a million shades of red and I don’t see what makes your shade of red so special that it deserves the distinction of “second red” when we’ve always had all these other reds

the bible wouldve never been written that way because adam and eve didnt happen. that story was based on a summerian tablet that painted the same picture, a guess as to how conciousness and suffering entered the world

And what are you not understanding about me saying I don’t really think there’s anything particularly that novel about what you’re describing compared to what people in that world have always done

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #4 9h

its novel in that theyre doing it collectively and commonly now in this way, to put this specific idea in peoples minds about mothers being to blame for childrens (not just minors btw) shortcoming. and like i said before, theyre doing it in a specific, also new way, of putting polls in comments
