I don’t think it’s bootlicking to say that a violent uprising against the government will never happen from either side of the aisle. Maybe I’m just incredibly naive, but it seems like the only way to actually affect change is through electing officials who echo the views of their constituents, as futile as it may seem

The states run elections, so the most realistic outcome is we get a repeat of what happened to Adelita Grijalva (they delay seating the newly elected members). At which point the states sue and mayyyybbeeeeee we visit the capitol
