That’s correct, but it’s still a college and I feel this essay is significantly more stupid than the Fox News thing. So I bet even many conservatives there will be going “what the fuck is this shit.” Cause the Fox News thing was stupid but it was “attention seeking because people were mean” stupid and not “called the governor because I got a bad grade” stupid

Yeah plus unlike the William and Mary thing this is actually famous. Nobody is changing their minds about William and Mary because of a minor Fox News article. But this has made their whole school a laughingstock

I get angry when my alma mater chokes high-profile basketball/football games, this kinda thing would make me BEYOND furious bc it impacts my degree’s reputation too
