No but I’ve had a gun pulled on me and I’ve had someone shoot up a party I was at. I’d rather completely ban ownership of handguns and allow random vehicle searches than ban rifles from people with no criminal or major psychiatric record. What if it gets much worse than trump and we ban everything? I guess there is only so many lives an authoritarian regime can take when consolidating power, so maybe there is a point where that should still be considered, idk.
