It’s coming from a place of love in truth, but living around the type of people who consider themselves Americas heart and soul, they need a fucking reality check. Theyre mostly very unpleasant and cruel people.

If you knew my lore you’d know I don’t really have a hometown, and the one I’d first think of isn’t rural. However my experience living in rural communities both exposed me to a lot of passively fucked up shit, and yeah I mean I’ve had people throw bricks at me for being gay. That shit happens.

And frankly I dont know a single person in my rural town who is left leaning and doesn’t acknowledge this. The idea that people in these areas are not dogshit is a myth from the outside.
