Yeah everyone on here is trying to prove you wrong and insult you, there are genuinely no good conversations to be had. It’s really sad honestly. As a leftist, I fully recognize that this is a left-wing echo chamber that gives you absolutely zero insight into what the other side has to say. I’m not saying I’d agree but the whole point of politics is to challenge your views in order to find if they are strengthened or need to be discarded

And the funny thing is who really follows the purpose on the top left corner? Nobody really discusses anything, just argues and yells and fights and nags and trolls and baits because apparently the dynamic is always smart vs dumb, we vs you, superior vs inferior. You don’t even do the useless thing right anyhow.

I mean it’s a social media platform, that’ll happen, but I have seen genuinely good conversations happening here as well as people finding common ground. However making real change starts in the real world, not on Sidechat
