Can these people actually vote in the next election so we don’t have to do this shit again

I’ve seen a few different estimates for the protest and none would make it the biggest in US history. Largest I’ve seen was 11 million and the 1970 Earth Day protest was 20 million.

Hell yeahhhh! I was at the one in nyc and it felt so cool to see all those people come out to protest. The guy next to me was using a walker and still showed up.

I mean ya there are more people here now then there ever were before in history so logically that’s sound

True they weren’t but you’d expect a bigger showing out of a event that hasn’t happened sense the victory of the gulf war

AnonymousOP15w
More like sub 50,000

It was a peaceful protest across the country unlike Jan 6
37
Anonymous15w
Ok 5m liberals and Americans across the country protested peacefully over the dissatisfaction over president while Jan 6 was a violent attack on government buildings and officials because of dissatisfaction over president

250K is kinda impressive ngl. The pictures I saw didn’t seem like it. Also people were definitely not going to fly all across the country for that over the same weekend as Father’s Day

That’s estimates of what was supposed to be there sense off the White House never released the actual head count.

AnonymousOP15w
Pretty sure total across the nation was 11 million from what I saw
9
Anonymous#415w
200k is what they expected, their turnout was 10k or less
7
AnonymousOP14w
The most recent estimate says it was leaning towards 12.1M now
11
Anonymous#1114w
Earth day 1970 is considered a demonstration, not a protest. But yea it remains to be the greatest single day event. No Kings still tops single day protest though.

Anonymous#1214w
Heres the thing. Its the largest by percent too.
13
AnonymousOP14w
The parade was only in DC wheras the protests were all over the country?
-1
Anonymous#1814w
his turnout was still less than 5% of what they expected and the protests had a higher turnout than expected by like. a lot
