Instantly reminded me of this specific video. The mom tried to lock the kid in his room when he went inside to grab his stuff too. Difference in this one is it’s the parents who call the cops thinking they’ll help them force their kid to stay (they were wrong and the cops helped the kid leave)

Yeah I’ve seen that video before. Classic conservative parenting. Feeling as if there is ownership over your child and trying to guilt tripping them into staying. There’s a reason you always hear of conservatives screaming that their child left them, but it’s very uncommon to hear of the opposite happening
