Southerners who fly the confederate flag are the worst people. Sure, free speech and expression is allowed, but traitors are traitors. That’s not a heritage to be proud of. It also makes you look like a dorky dipshit

plus that’s not even the fucking flag that actual confederate soldiers fought under either!!! they chose the singular battle flag that the KKK had adopted and popularized…

I’d put ppl in states above the Mason Dixon Line a rung below southerners. As a leftist Pennsylvanian, they fly them way too much in Central PA and Upstate NY and Long Island. Like you wish you were on the losing side?? That’s even worse than losing itself holy larp

Reminder that the Georgia flag is literally just the confederate national flag with some pillars on it. But most people don’t realize it because they don’t recognize the confederate national flag

This comment is misrepresentative, it is the actual design that soldiers fought under. It’s the battle flag for the army of northern Virginia, the most significant force that fought against the north. The importance of that army and the flag they used is shown in it being placed within the National flags. Your image is relying on a subtle technicality in an effort to trick viewers, that the square version (with the same design) was the original flag and the rectangular version was a naval flag.

yeah my comment is biased against confederates unapologetically. it doesn’t entirely misrepresent history bc it still mentions Robert E. Lee and later being adopted as the Naval Jack in it… and they still had to change it from the white flag bc it looks like the flag of surrender, hilariously. 😂
