Honestly I disagree with this because conservatism is a form of ignorance it is to believe the old ways that might be outdated or problematic to be still functional

This isn’t really true. If you took a present day conservative perspective and dropped them in the 80s they would be seen as a liberal. To say that Conservatives don’t change with the times just isn’t true

It is insane hubris to think you know better than multi-thousand year old wisdom as a 23 year old with a lit degree or whatever. Like think critically ig but if you don’t deeply understand why tradition is the way it is and how it’s been useful (and I mean deeply) you are a fool to think you can do away with it.

Bucket has nothing against traditions (well at least ones that aren’t problematic) bucket believes the past can be a lesson or old methods to be good plan bs if plan a fails but bucket doesn’t believe conservatism is the way forward
