They’re going public. That’s why they shut it down, ai video generation just isn’t profitable and that would mean no shareholders :(

None of what they do is profitable, Altman has said that even at their $200/month subscription they lose money.

Well yeah. Consumer ai is not profitable. Business oriented machine systems however, that’s where any money will be. Hence the shift. But mostly it’s just 5 companies throwing fake money back and forth back at each other and calling it profit
