absolutely. to the point where many republicans I've spoken to immediately feel the need to specify that they aren't MAGA/a trump supporter

I agree I think a lot of it has to do with how someone on either side thinks everything from (insert podcaster/news source) is just lies and propaganda. For example anything bad said about trump from say cnn is lies. And that’s what a lot of people who were charmed by his charisma felt. I think the most dangerous thing about him is just how people have responded to him, how divisive his personality is, and that he surrounds himself with people who aren’t experts in their field
