2.42/gal. It’s winter in Kansas. Fuel composition changes in the winter months for engine performance in colder weather. Cold weather fuel is cheaper to produce.

Not sure exactly what this is supposed to mean, but to be clear, Trump claimed gas is less than $2.50/gallon in “much of the country,” while the average according to AAA is $2.90 nationally

And I know it’s purely anecdotal but I’ve driven around the eastern Pennsylvania/NJ area recently and haven’t seen anywhere even below $2.60-2.70
