it makes my blood boil to see the anti abortion party pushing so hard for women to have kids asap in THIS economy, when they are actively defunding social services. running so much PR to bring children into poverty and struggle. its sickening.

my thoughts on having children have changed so much since this administration and i hate it. i wanted kids, and now i’m horrified of what will happen if i get pregnant or bring children into this world.

Somehow they’ll push you to have a child yet destroy working class conditions and allow shooters to run rampant in schools. They don’t give a single shit about children once they’re born. The unborn are such a convenient group to advocate for because they literally cannot speak for themselves

same. i never wanted children growing up but now i consider it sometimes, but i always end up at realizing that it would be selfish to bring them into a world i barely like living in. ive settled more so on spending my 20s and 30s working on my career, and then would like to adopt a teen or smthn so i have enough money to give them a chance at college or trade school. ill help sb alr here but im not adding a new soul to the equation

!!!. i heard the phrase “sweat equity” referring to a man (rightfully) sentenced to life. and it all made sense. prisons, factories, retailers, restaurants, etc. thats probably a term thats new to ME. they’ve probably been using it for years. they’re paying less bc they’re phasing into AI doing it so the job isn’t as complex as before. less responsibility in the role. they need military and industrial slaves to make themselves more money, childs welfare be damned. its so fucking infuriating😵‍💫
