It wouldn’t by itself Mad cow disease is caused by cows consuming feed that contains meat-and-bone meal made from other infected cattle or sheep.
As long as those regulations hold it’s fine. But the chances for other diseases do exist

Yeah mad cow disease is really a threat anymore. As long as you cook your meat properly it’s fine

You can cook your meat properly but it pretty much means everything you do cook needs to be well done for safety sake, especially pork products (riddled with parasites)

It’s also a good idea to avoid fast food/fast casual meat because at this point you’re putting your faith in some minimum wagee to not give you poisoning or a host of new symbiotes
