That CEO has been there since last year but he previously worked at Activision Blizzard and King (Candy Crush Saga) so idrk what to make of that. I’m not even sure who would *want* to roll this out where it’s not legally required

Usually I’d ask wtf legal team was ok with this, but these social media companies probably just repel anyone who actually wants to uphold the spirit of privacy legislation and pays others really well. This sounds like a compliance nightmare

I’m also not sure why they’re blaming Israel, but the EU’s implementation of this doesn’t seem as strict or as much of a violation of privacy as the UK’s. At least the EU is developing a framework to prove your age without sharing your full ID with every site. The UK doesn’t care lol
