Yeah well fortunately their main guy made it a point to travel around pointing out the hypocrisy of religious leadership so they don’t seem to agree on many things among themselves. Also, stop fear mongering.

Yes and no. The Catholic Church is much better than most evangelical churches but it still teaches some things that would be considered crazy if they were implemented as law in the United States

No gay marriage, outright ban on porn and abortion, some other things classified as mortal sins would likely be criminalized

No, mortal sins would not be criminalized. Adultery, Drunkenness, Gluttony were not even banned in medieval Catholic countries. As for gay marriage, that wouldn’t even be insane for it to theoretically happen given 35% of the country doesn’t support it, abortion is already banned in a multitude of states. Banning porn would actually be incredibly beneficial to the youth tho

Even homosexuality itself wouldn’t be criminalized, the Pope himself said it is a sin but it must be legal
