Middle class is not a subjective term. Because we live in a world where there are people who are not rich but also not poor who don’t have to struggle for money but cannot spend it wildly or loosely. So not sure how that’s subjective when it’s object fact. Also just because someone’s not marxists doesn’t mean they can’t have an opinion on Marxism. By that logic I would have to be a Nazi to say Nazi’s were bad. Doesn’t make much sense. Classic Marxist L
Middle class is subjective. I might be “middle class” here but compared to someone in a nation exploited my imperialism I would be rich. Marxists use an objective definition of class, ie you are proletarian (you sell your labor for a wage) or you are bourgeois (you purchase the labor power of others, and own the means of production)
Yes there are other sub-classes in various stages of capitalist development, but that would be an objective class assessment because the petite bourgeois uses their own labor power while owning the means of their production. “Middle class” is just a meaningless subjective term
So what you just described is inflation? I’m speaking about people within the nation they reside in currently. That’s not a fair argument because I could just say “If your poor just move to a nation with lower value of currency so you can live comfortably in a higher class” which in that case would be a middle class life.
