I’m rather new to politics and would like to understand the partisanship between the democratic and republican. I would also like to understand the sheer hate I have seen expressed by republicans to the LGBT and why gay marriage is a bad thing.

I didn’t have enough room to ask democrats a question but why does it seem like a lot of you hate America? Though I assume you hate specificity trumps America as even I as a newbie cannot see the sense in basically any of his decisions.

People are complex and have complex ideas. People are also simple and have simple ideas. Talk to someone you trust who has these beliefs to get the best understanding of what they actually believe

Democrats don’t generally hate america

I know, I highly doubted they did. I believe they simply hate how America is being run. I just thought it would be unfair to ask the republicans a question but not the democrats. I have asked this question on multiple other apps but democrats seem to be the most receptive to questioning and answering faithfully. Most republicans call me a lib and insult me.

That’s fair, I think to answer the R questions, or at least one of them. Christianity endorses things that come off as anti-LGBT, so that’s probably why most of the republican party is against that. Since they’re mostly that religion

I hate it when religion is used in politics. It never comes to the logical solution and is constantly used as an excuse to harm and have moral superiority because ‘god says it is wrong.’ Another question I had was on ‘White America’ is the existence of such a thing not very against American values? I have asked people before and have had worrying responses.

I’m sure there are democrats who “hate” America but it’s not a majority and it’s most likely highly factionalized rather than being random. Most of the “hate” you typically see is from the further left, and even that’s highly dependent on specific subsets of their ideology, because “the far left” isn’t one ideologies but many.

A lot of republicans are going to advocate for a white america and use immigration crime rate as an excuse, cultural assimilation, etc. It is just as racist as you probably imagine it is but those are the reasons

I have been told that the extreme left and right are super weirdos. How true is that?

That’s pretty good advice, can’t argue with that.

So for instance, most, if not all Democrats, are liberal as in Liberalism. “The left” is made up of Marxists, Anarchists, Eco-Socialists, Democratic Socialists, Anti-Imperialists, and identity-based radical movements. They’re not as cohesive and under one banner like the Democratic Party or Republican Party.

“The left’s” hatred typically comes from their criticisms of capitalism, imperialism, social justice, environmentalism, and statism. They are separate from Democrats/Liberals because a lot of them feel Liberals are complicit, supportive, or ineffective in regard to the problems I just listed.

Depends on how you’re asking that question tbh. If you’re asking for a psychoanalysis of those who are on the far right and far left or just their actual ideologies in general.

Their ideologies really. Things like communism and fascism. I hear those terms thrown around a lot.

Communism is an economic ideology that seeks a classless society where most, if not all, resources are collectively owned rather than privately owned. It aims to eliminate exploitation based on class divisions and eventually make the state irrelevant. Fascism is authoritarian nationalism, social hierarchy, and unity under a strong state and suppression perceived internal division. It typically prioritizes the state over individual rights.

Typically, most who fall into radical ideologies are going to be a bit “weird” to use your definition. Most who fall under those aren’t functioning well in current society in some form or another, which is why they want change to begin with. Some seek small changes, some seek big radical changes.

For biases purposes, I am a liberal Democrat. When it comes to explaining certain things like ideology, I try to give neutral impartial answers so it doesn’t come across as “poisoning the well” so to speak. If you’ve been here long enough, you’ll find that I’m very anti-left and very anti-right.

The funny thing is that they don’t actually use immigrant crime RATES at all because that would expose their lie that immigrants bring higher crime (they do the opposite). So usually trump just calls them monsters, rapists, poison in the blood of our country, and other Hitler esk rhetoric to make people scared and angry
