Correct, the “academy” part was a telegram group with ~1k members. The website (Motherless) seems to just host any sort of video (they say anything as long as it’s legal — clearly this is illegal). The website had 62M visits in Feb IIRC, but those are not to be confused with *unique visits/visitors*, and doesn’t reflect how many were viewing the content the article is focusing on. Didn’t pornhub have a similar issue with user-uploaded nonconsensual stuff or people being trafficked or underage?
It’s a network of group chats, specifically seeking out lonely men in order to spread their hateful ideological views. And as a year ago, it was around 70k, this current investigation is only into one of many groups. https://www.snopes.com/news/2025/02/02/women-telegram-rape-channel/
