If I falsely believed the nonsense that there are all these people who are pro-suffering and who want a bad economy, I would suffer from paranoia too. Deep deep misunderstanding of what voting is for and why people do it.
The scariest part about voting is standing in line and realizing that some of the people in line with you are going to vote against you. They want you to suffer, they’re happy the economy is terrible, and nobody can afford life.

i lost reproductive rights, my mother was forced to take a severance package from her IRS job of 15 years, i lost healthcare and can’t afford premiums, my best friend cannot leave his hometown out of fear ICE will attack him or his family (DACA kid so he’s documented legally but that hasn’t stopped them from doing it to even American citizens), college students detained/deported for nothing but being seemingly foreign when they’re a documented student… people voted for that & they’d do it again

actually someone that worked under my mom who she trained just called her the other day asking her for help on a serious tax avoidance case… even though they forced her out of the job. she said no and he insisted saying they’re calling EVERY RO that might’ve worked on this case even if they got laid off/pushed out by DOGE. the fucking audacity. she had to be extremely clear with him that she’ll never help this administration with anything considering what they’ve done to our family…

I would ask you to consider the possibility people generally don’t hate you, they have different political opinions, which is not the same thing. Like at all. Believing all these people who really don’t pay attention to the fine minutiae of politics are all hateful bigots is an easy way to begin hating your neighbors and country. As Michael Jordan said, “stop. get help.”

Whether trans people deserve human rights is not a differing political opinion. It’s a fundamental erasure and ostracization of an identity group. It’s a blatant and intentional othering of an identity group that has a higher likelihood of being victimized by fatal violence than so many other groups…

I would make the argument you don’t understand immigration law or public policy tradeoffs. I also don’t see how any of those things you are upset about are the result of people who actively want increased suffering and a worse economy. They just seem like policy outcomes you don’t like. For example, something like reducing the federal workforce seems like a pretty reasonable position. Being hired by the federal government is not permanent job protection. If anything, it should be the opposite.

Obviously discussions about policy regarding transgender people is political, you just seem to conflate people having different opinions about social issues than you as evil. If you view politics this way, I imagine your paranoia, anxiety and anger are deeply destabilizing to your daily life and ability to interact with people in a healthy way

they fired thousands of military veterans. they HEAVILY reduced staffing at VA centers which directly reduces services to veterans which they are entitled to. one staffer with the VA can literally be the deciding factor between a combat veteran choosing life/family or blowing their brains out. they cut SNAP benefits which, mind you, thousands of veterans also rely on in this country. that’s not a policy to dislike. that’s just blatant negligence and apathy which literally costs LIVES.

they actively want children who rely on SNAP benefits and free lunches to go without. they are literally pushing policies that make children suffer. banning abortion makes both children and women suffer. normalizing misogyny by supporting a rapist also severely harms women on a cultural level. like pls stop being willfully obstinate & obtuse just to play devil’s advocate. like despite the username, you can at least be logical that an opinion stops being as such when it inflicts measurable harm.

It’s called human decency. Whether people deserve rights is not politics. Whether a certain race is inferior is not politics either. Whether slurs are acceptable to refer to others is not politics… I’ve never been friends with any of these people. I have a better academic inclination than those types of people who think racism is patriotism or that hate is strength/humor. That’s pathetic.

I’m not sure you understand the people you are so upset with very well. It might be your view that the outcome of these policies is bad, but people have a different view that the outcome actually makes people better off. If it was as simple as you wanted it to be, there would be nothing to argue about. Very silly to act like every policy other people support kills people

You’re imagining that I said anything like that last sentence. I made specific references to specific policies that demonstrably harm people, particularly veterans in the previous case. Describe to me how someone else’s view of that same scenario I described can somehow have a good outcome for the average American. Specifically, veterans being less likely to receive necessary medical and psychological treatments due to severe understaffing at the VA department...

Yes, people who use slurs, are unaware of the implications of the Confederate flag, assume other races are inferior, and so on are less academically inclined than I am. They’re not knowledgeable that the colloquially known confederate flag never even flew over the Confederate States until the KKK started using it with the Dixiecrats. They’re not knowledgeable that pseudoscience propaganda is responsible for the inferior race bullshit lol. They can learn otherwise, if they cared to talk to me.

I’m happy with being wrong sometimes when it comes to factual evidence. Those who oppose trans rights have zero factual or scientific evidence that supports their “philosophy” besides their feelings. It’s literally a made-up issue bc some people feel weird about it lol. Anyway, you should call in to a debate show to try to talk to people smarter than me about all these topics tbh.

1) A survey by VAOIG.gov & reported on my Military Times covers fiscal 2026 reports a period following a reduction in VA staff by “roughly 30,000 jobs. Since Sept 26, 2025, the VA workforce has declined by more than 19,000 persons, including 11,000 from the VHA, which manages the department’s health care services”. These shortages of 4.7k vacancies in 2026 compared to 2.9k in 2024 indicates a severe inclination in shortages under this admin.

2) The reason why they arbitrarily cut thousands of jobs with the VA was the intent that it would somehow save the gov’t money by reducing costs for staff wages… which was not reallocated back into reorganization of providing care to these veterans.

3) It seems that billionaires with equity in private healthcare/deathcare corporations are the ones that support understaffing the VA, alongside the average joe who thinks billionaires are oppressed or something.

The right to use a public restroom It is a universal right that is strangely specifically denied to trans people Maslow’s hierarchy, but also that it’s a public space that adheres to public standards such as ADA as an example. You can’t refuse/prevent specific identities from using a public space.

Hey bud, about 40% of the election messaging in my state right now is that people like me should be subjected to public shame, domestic violence, loss of medical access, and ideally imprisonment. That’s literally the Paxton campaign in a nutshell.

lol Ken Paxton is pro-domestic violence? I had no idea! Man just wait until everyone hears about that, you certainly understand the arguments about this issue very well. I understand a lot of Texas Republicans might be completely incapable of explaining their political opinions, but you can’t seriously have this little of an understanding of the high level right wing positons on Trans issues. You might not, fr. You might not be able to understand why people disagree with you.

There is obviously not a right to use a bathroom unless you own that bathroom or are given permission to use that bathroom. Like, painfully easy to understand. By public, do you mean like a bathroom in a public business or space? Or do you mean public as in a government owned bathroom?

1) understaffing is not the same as a reduction in staffing. For it to be understaffing, you have to also demonstrate what the baseline desired staffing level is. The necessity of the vacancies would also have to be explored. 2) assuming there is understaffing proven by point 1, this is at least an answer to my question 3) I would like to be shown names and explanations of what billionaires support VA hospitals being understaffed, and why they want them understaffed.

In those reports it specifically cited that nearly all positions are understaffed by over 50% … so I think I gave you a lot of stuff to look into already that you haven’t fully explored, which is okay to be unaware of what you don’t know. I recommend reading the report from VAOIG.gov from September of this year to obtain that baseline understanding that you’re seeking, rather than relying on an anonymous college student’s limited character summary of this topic. Ask a public health professor tbh

… do you have scholarly peer reviewed articles to support your claims? you haven’t provided any sources anywhere tbh. you keep saying we are talking about our feelings but… you keep saying “i thinks” and asking questions and demanding to be spoon fed data that you never care to address directly or admit to being unaware of any data provided that contradicts your positions. that’s what scholars do. activists just yell, they don’t have scholarly research on hand to educate others for this long.
