I’m just saying that argument is silly because technically any of the people expressing nationalisms, racisms are expressing their personal freedoms and rights, with what they wear, but I don’t think you would disagree that they are what is wrong with society. The original post is just stupid anyways.

I think that personal freedom and expression do not include the rights to cause societal harm. I think that personal freedoms exist to improve others lives. When these freedoms do not improve lives, they no longer have a purpose. I’m just calling out the right’s hypocrisy because they claim to stand for personal freedoms while going against personal freedoms when they don’t match a certain ideal.

I don’t believe that personal freedoms are sacred. That’s a value that mostly exists on the right. I’m a left libertarian.

Yeah but I can directly point to the societal harm. I can back it up with research. The conservatives just say something about degeneracy and act as if just pointing at someone who they think is weird is reason enough.
