And definitely don’t use it if you’re in the LGBTQIA+ community. They extended the privacy policy to include rhetoric that specifically targets and tries to identify us, primarily us trans and non conforming folk. TikTok is literally assisting the gov w creating a list of trans + nonconforming individuals in society.

George Orwell predicted the government would surveil us with TVs that read our thoughts and were always on. He was only half right, we purchased our own surveillance state. Now is as good a time as any to learn OPSEC and good privacy practices
