My position is obviously we gotta have enforcement, but ICE in its current form can’t continue to exist. It needs to be dismantled and replaced entirely with something new that respects civil liberties and human dignity.

Wording is important here. The “common sense” position is to not support ICE, because in its current form it’s just an unnecessary drain on resources (ignoring the other glaring flaws). It would be fine to support some other agency that fulfills the same role as ICE, but ICE must go.
