i think the bios chip corrupted. it happened a while ago when i tried to update the bios using gigabyte’s software, rather than just flashing it the normal way. i didn’t send it in for so long because it worked fine except the onboard rgb controller, at least until i tried to flash an updated bios and it kept failing to flash. i just rma’d it bc i was also planning on upgrading the gpu too

Nice dude, I’m glad you got it fixed. Bios chips are one of those things that could just brick your whole setup for no reason

You got time my boy, as long as your current version is stable I would not worry unless you really just want it up to date, I always wait a year or so to see if they have to update it or straight out release a new version

Yeah, I know if it ain’t broke, don’t flash it. It’s been a little under a year and I typically like to reimage my shit once in a while. Typically I do my BIOs first.
