With the advent of LLMs, it’s unbelievable that members of Congress are voting on bills and then saying they didn’t know what was in them. Hell, even Ctrl-F would be fine
I’m sorry but I don’t want politicians to use AI summaries of bills instead of reading them. It’s not an improvement over them not reading bills in the first place.

It’s not a substitute for reading the bills. Which is, you know, their jobs. AI summaries are a method of extreme corner-cutting, and legislation is too important of a job for that to be tolerable. It’s child’s play to hide information in a passage from an AI’s summary.
