When I heard about the Iran school getting binned I had feeling about which country did it, and not the US. Now I’m questioning if AI had something to do with it (since Claude was used). I would be it used old days to find it was linked to IRGC activities

And then humans just rubber stamped the operation. We’re going to see this happening a lot more with military using AI to plan operations.

Damn hella typos. Essentially the school was on an old IRGC community center of sorts, and later a wall was built and a school too. I’m guessing Claude failed to identify it as a school now and noted it as a strike location. I bet events like this will sadly increase.

i read that the whole thing used to be a base, and then they built a school in the base, and then maybe ten years ago they walled the school off from the base. i read something from a military expert who said the US has a database of potential targets and they probably just never updated the target after the school was walled off. really awful

idk if it was claude specifically but it’s definitely one of the problems with modern weapons— mostly large bombs directed by computers if not AI working of massive massive data sets. one small mistake in the code or the dataset that no one catches and the consequences are horrific

and on top of that whenever a country gets scared or desperate the first thing that’s going to go out the window is the fail safes and safety checks on those systems

also, international law is not equipped to handle these situations. we literally just don’t have legal terms for this let alone any way to get accountability
