Curious about people’s opinions on third party voting. Not saying it’s remotely possible for a third party to win anytime soon but for me it’s become a more enticing idea with how poorly these administrations have been run. Wasted vote?

It’s a waste right now, but it wouldn’t be if a true third party made itself present. A populist party would do really well right now, as would a true Republican party. Between democrat, maga, Republican, libertarian, and populist, we COULD finally have a functioning non-gridlocked country for the first time in our entire history. Although I’d be totally fine with maga just completely fucking evaporating too

I personally think that is someone with money did it like Bezos, campaigning is all about who can do the most at the end of the day. More people would align themselves with an outlier. Bc let’s be honest everyone hates the two party system bc it benefits nobody

Vote your conscience, not what you think is most popular

I think it does a disservice to minorities who don’t have the numbers to win in a vote for their own interests

Money ain’t enough when it comes to national 3rd parties and independent candidates, imo

Well the policy’s need to be a mix between everything, and that is hard af. But money is normally the main issue

Fair enough. I like to think that it’s less about money and more about exposure to policies and parties, but then again that usually does require money. Unless you’re Trump, and then the media does it for free
