Gavin Newsom is a feckless and spineless corporate shill who will throw any marginalized community under the bus if it benefits him. Not to mention his incompetent leadership in CA. I’m begging Dems if you wanna get serious in 2028, do not support him.

I have no issue with his running of CA, but he’s dead to me because of his LGBTQ+ recent comments and his platforming right wing douchebags on his podcast

I just don’t think you should write someone off even before the midterms. Gavin Newsom is infinitely better than republicans. But if you want someone else you actually have to generate support and momentum for your candidate instead of tearing down others

Gavin Newsom is not infinitely better than Republicans. He’s just as corporate and warmongering as the rest of them. As I said above the candidate who comes out swinging at AIPAC will have my full endorsement and support.

I think that Newsom, like Trump, would still be giving Israel everything under the sun and continue the genocide. I think, like Trump, he would still look out for billionaires and corporations over working class. And I think, like Trump, he would sell out trans people and create a panic over something not credible. He would just be doing it in a more “dignified” manner.
