It’s surge pricing/greed … doesn’t cost THAT much to swap tags out.

They’ve already been changing prices for different people based on their data online, surge pricing won’t be changing it off of demand like they say it is, but rather raising prices because you looked up a recipe and they know you need that ingredient.

At least it’s better than what Dollar General is doing. What they do is update the price in their system but NOT the tags. So they end up skimming $1-5 per trip, off of poor and rural people. they’ve been caught multiple times, but don’t have any real consequences.

The consequences are give complainers a $10 coupon. Even though they make millions off of systematically overcharging 😂
