Meanwhile Trump has threatened to do a complete trade embargo until interest rates go down That’s an empty threat, but Trump firing board members from the Fed is not

If someone told you they wanted their house to be clean and then they shit on their living room carpet and rubbed it in every day, would you believe them that they wanted a clean house? When you want lower interest rates and inflation you don’t go start a war with Iran that inevitably puts immense pressure on oil prices
