Not at all how that works lmao. It hit his jugular without hitting any bone which would make for a clean(ish) pass through. If it had hit bone it would be a different story, but the part of the neck it hit doesn’t give enough resistance for major bullet deformation that would lead to a dramatic exit wound

Jokes aside this is the reasoning I keep coming to, with the alternative reasoning being that the FBI isnt telling the whole truth deliberately or is just that incompetent rn which I’d honestly believe lowkey. Looked like the round didn’t exit from the videos I saw so yea there wouldn’t be an explosion per se but it look a lot cleaner than what I’m used to seeing with 30.06 🤷‍♂️
