i like how they have misconstrued the golden age of travel into meaning “people dressed up for the occasion” instead of meaning “companies tried to make travel as enticing as possible by trying to make it as luxurious and comfortable as possible”. like sorry, sir, but there is no way in hell I am wearing a dress to sit with my knees jammed into the seat in front of me because some airline CEO wants to jam us in a plane like fucking sardines and wring every last cent out of consumers
