Purity balls, child beauty pageantry, debutante parties, there’s a reason these traditions have fallen to the wayside in most of the country. Only place you still really see that shit is the South. And I’m gonna be charitable to the Southerners since I am a Southerner, and say that it’s mostly done out of traditionalism. Moms do pageants as little girls and enjoy it, so they put their daughters in them too. I don’t think they understand the OTHER audience for things like that are also around.

I love the south for many reasons. I used to technically live in the south though not really. I mean South Carolina and Maryland. Maryland is barely the south though. But yeah, a lot of those cultural things are pedo shit man I’m just being real. And you know it to be pedo shit. You don’t have to hate all southerners if you acknowledge that.

Well I’m not defending the traditions themselves, I’m saying most of the people who put their kids in these things also grew up doing these things, and they enjoyed it as children, they never thought of it that way, and that’s not where they’re coming from. If it were up to me, we wouldn’t be doing any of that shit anymore as a society, it’s weird shit. But I don’t think the parents engaged in it have weirdo intentions, for the most part.

It seems the purpose of this post is to demonize anyone that identifies as conservative. I mean, I think it’s worth noting that there is a degree of what I’d call cultural pedophilia in America that dates back a long time, and that as the traditionalist side of things politically, conservatives tend to blindly defend these weird cultural elements that I think our society would be better off doing away with. I think it’s bad rhetoric to paint them all as actively pro-pedo, but they are undeniably passively pro-pedo.
